B. Pharmacy (Lateral Entry)

The lateral entry programme allows eligible diploma holders in Pharmacy to gain direct admission into the second year of the B. Pharmacy programme.

This pathway enables students to build upon their existing knowledge and complete the undergraduate degree in a shorter duration, as per PCI and university regulations.

• Duration: 3 Years

• Eligibility: The candidate must have passed the Diploma examination in D. Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

• Admission: The admission to the B. Pharmacy second year degree course under the Lateral Entry Scheme shall be made on the basis of merit of the Diploma in Pharmacy conducted by the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board. Provided that if seats under the Lateral Entry Scheme remain vacant, the same shall be filled from candidates who have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy from any other recognized University or Board.
